On Saturday 11th November 2017 we held our very first Ardvreck Mini Marathon. All children from Form 2 to F6 took on the challenge. We plan that it will eventually grow into an annual inter-school event.
The run was just over 4 miles and started up at the Knock Circular parking area; we scaled over the Knock, down to Gilmerton, back up and around the Knock, down and along the golf course, past the Action Glen and down to the Nature Trail, near Glenturret, along the river and finished back at Ardvreck.
There was a group start from the parking area and Forms 1,2 and 3 had the option of a shortened route with the rest tackling the full 4.75 miles! Finish line was at Findlay Hall for tea! (Mr Van Blerk)
