Ardvreck Pipe Band at the Crieff Remembrance Day Parade

The Pipe Band were fantastic ambassadors for Ardvreck on Sunday when they joined the Morrison’s and Crieff High School Pipe Bands on the Remembrance Sunday parade. On a beautiful, crisp Autumn Day, the bands set off from the British Legion at 10.30am and marched to Crieff Parish Church where they disbanded and were treated to some very welcome hot soup in the Morrison’s Hall. At 11.45am they regrouped at the church before marching on to the War Memorial. Our Head Girl, Abi C, and Head Boy, Will F, laid wreaths for the school along with many other members of the Crieff Community in a dignified ceremony. The Bands then marched back to the town Square. We were all very proud of our pupils’ behaviour and performance on the day and they acquitted themselves admirably. Well done and thank you to Mrs Spalding and Mrs Stewart for all their hard work and preparation. (Miss Henderson)
