Junior Boarders Skiing 14/01/18

The junior Boarders had a very early 6am start on Sunday morning as they headed up to Glenshee for some skiing and sledging.
When they arrived, they were separated into different ability groups from children who have never skied before to other children who regularly go skiing. The groups went their different ways with all of the pupils putting in 100% effort. They stopped for lunch, but quickly returned to the slopes. The beginners were really starting to get the hang of doing their snowploughs and were able to move onto a slightly harder things such as turns and even some small jumps. By the end of the day all of the children were extremely pleased with the improvement they had made.
After a fantastic day of skiing and sledging they had nice warm cup of hot chocolate before returning back to school.
