Burns Night

The pipes and drums were on parade to pipe in the guests, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their spectacular performance. Everyone then entered the well decorated Crabbie, to find their seats on the beautifully themed tables. Once sat down Jacob delivered a superb Selkirk Grace, Followed by Harris P and Lewis K piping in the Haggis. Mr Pagett gave us a very entertaining Address to the Haggis.

The evening was full of entertainment, with pieces from the Ceilidh Band, singing from Connie T and Harry Y, Highland Dancing from the wonderful Kiki and Amelia P. We had the Immortal Memory and Toast delivered by Robbie G, the always entertaining Toast to the Lassies from Will F and Cosmo G-C with the reply from Sacha F-P, Abi C, Maria H and India N. The wonderful meal was then concluded by a vote of thanks from Harry Y and Hamish T.

The meal wasn’t the end of this fantastic evening, we had some spectacular reels lead by Mrs Erdal which was accompanied by Ms Henderson on the Piano and Violin Mr Banks. Everyone was joining in, from all generations. One of the parents said it was The most outstanding Burns Night “.
