Every child at Ardvreck has an opportunity to enjoy drama.
Pupils are able to have individual drama lessons in order to work towards LAMDA exams.
Two major productions are performed each year, which give the children the opportunity to act, sing, dance as well as help in the back stage production.
Drama club is offered as a weekly activity for those children who wish to pursue their interest between productions. Workshop activities enable the children to improve their acting skills. All forms produce a small-scale production twice a year, which is staged in the Crabbie Hall during morning assembly. Visits are regularly organised to local theatres and schools to watch a variety of productions. Theatre groups also visit Ardvreck to stimulate and entertain the children.
Some of our pupils have gone on to gain drama scholarships to their future schools.
